The Levy-Komes invite you to enjoy all things fried. Latkes and doughnuts are traditional, so we’ll work on latkes. We will also attempt to make some tamales. Sam made the filling, so we don’t have much of an excuse!
Sam and Meem will be around during break, so FND will be happenin’ through the New Year. This is Ray’s last FND for a while cause she’s headed to an ocean of boats and a land of blue-footed boobies.

We’re going to make food that you’re not supposed to eat until _after_ you’ve eaten your vegetables.
Originally I thought, Halloween, we need to make Anti-comfort food. Scary food. “Food”. But who’d really show up and eat opossum with me? Anyway I think the coyotes got the one I was going to cook.
If you have a favorite TGIF dish bring that or tell me (Sam) in the next few hours and I will try to get/make it.
Ray is in Sunny upstate NY on a mission so secret we aren’t allowed to even know the city (Potsdam).

Mimi and Ray will be around for a bit, but then they are going to be at the packing house for First Friday where some aerial fabric demos are happening. So come on over and eat some serious breakfast with Sam!

For Rosh Hashanah, Ray is planning to make an apple honey galette and we are gonna fire up the grill. We have salmon burgers and veggie burgers. Maybe we’ll even have a little backyard bonfire. Will have margaritas Could use veggies of some sort and perhaps some fruit and drinks and dessert.
