FND 1/13/12: Hey we haven’t grilled in a while

Whaaaat? Grill 2 weeks in a row? Twist my arm.

Ray is back from waaaaaaaaay far away and wants to know if the fire cylinder is at all good.  So.  We will make with the beef and veggie stuffs.  I will make more greens.  We could use buns again and drinks and anything else that tastes better after it’s been kissed by flame.

FND 01/06/2012: Ready or not here we grill

New year, new patio.  Not only a new patio but a new fire, err, cylinder. Also lots of adorable weather. FND needs to take advantage of these circumstances!

We have lots of veggie burgers and really decent hotdogs, maybe a couple salmon burgers too.  To prevent scurvy or rickets or whatever I will conjure up fresh CSA greens in a brothy way.

The fire not-a-pit really needs to be test fired – so marshmallows are mandatory.

Have a great weekend!

August 13: Grillin and Chillin

We’re grilling burgers of various kinds, having chili and stuff. Yay Friday.

We have corn on the cob and we’re firing up the grill. What are you bringing?

FND 03/19/2010: Sam’s Bday Grill o rama

I know some folks are out of town, but if you are around please come celebrate Sam and Spring and the wonders of grilled food.

We’ll gather at 6:30ish for good eats.

Bring your favorite things to grill, sides, drinks and desserts.

As always (please please please) RSVP who and what you are bringing here at fndeats.wordpress.org

Happy Spring!

Sam, Ray and Mimi

FND 11/20/09: Grilled on the barbie

Welcome to the weekend.  Pull up a chair and have a plate of grilled squash, chicken or tofu, and a plate of greens.  Don’t pick at the greens.
Dinner starts promptly-ish when you arrive or sometime thereafter.
You may bring something(s) or someone(s) as you see fit, or just yourself; take a peek at the blog to see the who/what: http://fndeats.wordpress.com/

Phew, yay Friday.

FND 07/10/09: Grilled

Friday Night Dinner will be grilled outside, sort of an instant replay of last weekend, everyone had a great time I hope.
Ray and Mimi are away so adjust your expectations, but they said we could use their stuff.

I have Hamburgers, hot dogs, and even maybe a salmon burger plus several veggie burgers. Anything else that gets tasty over fire?
Breads, toppings, sides? Dessert could be vanilla ice cream and/or those little mango/vanilla frozen things from Trader Joes. Yum.

Last week’s pancakes and waffles and bacon and sausage ice cream and (grabs chest), well it was great. We’ll do that again next month.

See you/have a great weekend!
