What do Californians count as comfort food? Maybe not collards. Too bad.<\/p>\n<p>For a main dish&#8230;hmmm ham hocks? No?  A roast chicken is better? Ok.  And a vegetarian sump&#8217;n, I guarantee it&#8217;ll be fried.<br \/>\nIf it looks like a lot of folks are coming, someone grab a steer or more chickens, or a wildebeest.<\/p>\n<p>We still have about 6 beers and several bottles of wine; could use other drinks.<br \/>\nThe sorbet survived and we have some frozen cherries.
