Hey sorry for the late notice, had a bit of a day. I’ll make up for it, watch this: Mac and Cheese. It’s in the dictionary under “Comfort Food”. Especially the homemade kind with actual cheddar that’s older than my nevermind. And then grind black pepper over it? OMG stop it.

FND 05/15/2026: Empanadas
Invoking a broad definition for “dumpling” and probably empanada too, we’ll try to make them from scratch. The cook pretty quickly so bring some fillings or other accoutrements and it’ll be great.

FND 05/08/26: Breakfast
The hens have created a situation. An omelet, scrambled, fried, hard boiled situation. Also haven’t had a waffle in quite some time. Hmm. Advisory: Ray is away frolicking so it’s just myself and Pepper.

FND 4/24/26: Tostadas y tacos
To crunch (flat or curved?) or not to crunch; whatever the preference we’ll have the essential ingredients along with some unnecessary and possibly unhelpful stuff.

FND 4/17/27: Soup & Salad and Sump’n
Moments ago got a new cook book so anything could happen but will real quick grow some greens and carrots and whatnot and make a lentil soup as well.

Round flat bread festooned with savory treats. We’ve got dough and sauce covered, bring any other thing compatible with whichever version of pizza you prefer, and/or just bring your empty stomach and hollow leg.

03/27/26: Dumplings!
Hi Dumplings! Perhaps this will mean ravioli? Wikipedia says that basically everything is a dumpling and I’m having trouble deciding. So bring something and we’ll call it valid. Or just bring your dumpling self

FND 03/20/26: Breakfast: Biscuit sandwiches
Since Spring is afoot we’re making biscuits. It’s just science. Fork-split then stuffed with egg, cheese, greens, bacon-y stuff, whatever seems appropriate or at least legal.

FND 3/13/26: Tacos
Tacos are good luck so that’s what we’re making, not that we’re superstitious or anything *throws salt over my shoulder* We’ll stock up on soft and crispy shells and refried beans and some sort of protein(s) — how do we feel about fish? Bring your essential ingredient or beverage or just appetite. *touches wood*
