Two Wednesdays in a row, you say? Yes indeed!
Come raise a glass to celebrate the end of the week. I even washed the dog 🙂

In FND tradition, every year or so we make the email list shorter because we don’t want to spam people. You all can see that I have only mailed to a few folks. But FND is still open to anyone you hear would like to come and anyone you would like to bring. Please help me figure out who I should add back so that the folks getting this announcement are the ones who want it.
Best to y’all!

Really?
OK – then I guess it is time to kick back and enjoy some good company. Sorry our act is SOOOOOOO not together. But the house is clean and we have some lovely cherry juice and bourbon.
BYO favorite appetizer or comfort food, even if that means a fluffy drink 😉
See ya soon!
Ray and Sam and the critters.

Ray might even bust out some biscuits. Because she ate them almost every day of break…
We have replentished the bourbon supply and squeezed some limes…
So bring on the breakfast. Which Sam claims is half of the key to a 25 year marriage (along with selective memory).

If we are very lucky, we’ll get a special appearance by Robyn the 9 yr old bday girl.
I’m thinking about things like grilled tofu or tempe – root veggies, asparagus, eggplant, chicken and marshmallows!
xoxox to you all,
Ray

FND this week is for anyone who wants to eat anything. FND is always for that, by the way.
Tonight Sam will be sole host since Ray is otherwise engaged. Along with cooking he will be gathering thoughts of how to respond to the historic election. Anyone, *anyone* is welcome to cook, eat, talk, not talk, vent, hug, sing, dance, scheme, write, etc.
There will be popcorn and music. That’s all we know for sure.
Love, FND

The amazing daughter Tula and grandbaby Miles are in town for one last day and it is Ray’s bday tomorrow, so we are having an early picnic in Higginbotham Park!
https://www.yelp.com/biz/higginbotham-park-and-the-thompson-trail-claremont
We’ll aim to be there about 5:30 with picnic blankets, yummies and a swingset!
Fair warning – we had some stomach sicks earlier in the week, but seem to have been in the clear for more than a day and we are all out and about again.
Cheers!
the traditional RSTM
where here M=Miles instead of Mimi!

So suddenly it’s cold outside (75 brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr) and thoughts go to hot coals.
FND is all about grilling and eating outside this week. We’ll fire up the barbie and pile on veggies and not-veggies.
We’ll turn up the outdoor space heaters (we won’t)(don’t have any)(complete lie) and sit around the table singing eddas about Summer and Sunlight (ridiculous)(who writes this note)(fire them).
Happy weekend!
