FND 07/08/11: Stuffed baked potatoes and appetizgasbord
On this, the last* FND of the Summer of 2011, the good citizens will gather around their table of tubers, and yea they will descend on the fluffy starch nuggets and assorted suitable condiments with steely knives and ravenous appetites. Also there will be a variety of pre-feast noshies. So: bring your favorite person, potato…

FND 07/01/11: Intersection of Sandwich and Salad
FND is primarily a communal kickoff for the well-deserved weekend, but we do tend to push the culinary envelope a fair amount. We’re gutsy, possibly even reckless. Case in point: tomorrow we will eat food which could be presented as either a salad OR a sandwich OR an open-faced sandwich OR (just one example) a…

FND 6/24/2011: All kinds of Asian food
Phil has a whole mess-o-chinese broccoli in his fridge just waiting for us to create a meal around it. So bring on your favorite foods from Asia (define that how you like). For self-organizational goodness, you gotta be brave with the FND blog. Many folks said they were “waiting for others to post.” C’mon —…

Lucky dumplings
Friday the 13th never scared FND, but if it did we could always resort to lucky dumplings. Uhm, and so we are: they may be steamed or fried or pot-stickery. We’ll also have lots of rice and some greens and dipping sauce. Bring your favorite dumpling(s), even/especially the two-legged variety.

Fast full week makes for last minute FND notices, QED, mea culpa, cogito ergo sum. We’ll be at half staff here because of end of the semester work obligations, but dinner will be served, rest assured. And dinner will be pizza, calzones, and for some reason I don’t understand, omelets. It’s as if les petite…

FND 04/29/11: >>> Sandwiches <<<
What we’ll do, we’ll take two pieces of bread – or one piece but typically two – stack a combination of lettuce or other salad-type vegetables, possibly cheese, perhaps meat(s) onto them and certainly add condiments which may be spreadable, sprinkleable, or tossable condiments. In the event only one piece of bread is used we…

FND 4/22/2011: Soup, stew, chili
It is matzo time-o year and the weather is… hot and cold. In honor of some of the wetter, colder weather we are having warm tummy food this FND. We have tons-o-bowls so a variety of soupy options can be enjoyed by all. Happy almost end of week! RSM

FND 4/15/2011: Breakfast
You know how some weeks there’s no time to eat a decent breakfast? Sometimes you just have to make up for it on Friday. Get ready for the breakfast of champions or just of weary worker bees in hopes of a pre-weekend invigoration. Cheers! Sam, Ray and the spring-breakful-Mimi

3/18/2011: Breakfast
Breakfast…it isn’t just for breakfast anymore. What’s your fave? Bring it on. I’ll try to rustle up some cheesy grits and perhaps some pie. Getting hungry just thinking about it. See you soon! SAMRAYMIMISARGECOPPERANDLASTBUTNEVERLEASTTABU
