FND 06/03: Lobster Thermidor a Crevette with a mornay sauce served in a Provencale manner with shallots and aubergines garnished with truffle pate, brandy and with a fried egg on top and spam
…which is what we affectionately call french toast, pancakes, maple syrup and chai. Hardly any spam (cue Vikings).

5/27/2011: Pie and Smoothies
Our daughter Tulani is in town — come on out and meet her. We’ll be serving up all kinds-o-pie. Savory and sweet. Quiche anyone? It has been hot so we will also blend up some smoothies. And Tom will wash the blender after he uses peanut butter. See you soon! Ray

FND 5/20/2011: Faretheewell Ursula!
Ursula is moving to tenure-track goodness. She promises to visit, but this will be her last FND as a local. She has requested French+Vietnamese+Grilled Food, so you have plenty of choices. Lucky dumplings
Friday the 13th never scared FND, but if it did we could always resort to lucky dumplings. Uhm, and so we are: they may be steamed or fried or pot-stickery. We’ll also have lots of rice and some greens and dipping sauce. Bring your favorite dumpling(s), even/especially the two-legged variety.

Fast full week makes for last minute FND notices, QED, mea culpa, cogito ergo sum. We’ll be at half staff here because of end of the semester work obligations, but dinner will be served, rest assured.
