Another FND tradition says that “dumpling” is interpreted strictly* as:
1. A piece of dough, sometimes filled, that is cooked in liquid such as water or soup.
2. Sweetened dough wrapped around fruit, such as an apple, baked and served as a dessert.
3. A short, chubby creature.
So please don’t get creative, we’re very serious* people*.
* Untrue
will bring bamboo steamer + some frozen veg dumplings/buns + some kimchi. just me.
