Howdy NC Folks!
Phil is back and Sam and Mimi are finally here!
This week we will gather again at Phil’s place for a Big Breakfast. Here’s how it works. We will make some pancakes. You can bring eggs for cooking, omelette fixings, sausage or perhaps tofu scramble, fruit, makings for mimosas… You get the idea.
We will use the FND blog here again for self-organizational goodness. Special thanks to the folks last week who posted. You post what you are bringing (I’ll moderate/approve the comments) and you can check the blog to see how many folks are showing up and what we still need.
RSVP with who and what you are bringing at http://fndeats.wordpress.com/
Location: 2908 Arnold Rd, Durham, NC — Phil asks that you park on the lawn/driveway/verge but try to keep cars off the pavement as much as possible (narrow road with no safe room for parking). You can also park at the end of the road.
See you soon!
Ray and the FND crew.

I will bring Neese’s sausage, because I always do.
Bacon!
Spiced plum jam-turned-syrup (for the brave or compassionate) and fruit. Me, at least, and maybe Ian. Looking forward to it!
Oh how we wish we could be there, but Adrian’s playing at Maker Faire Saturday and they have organizational stuff Friday night — please do keep us in the look though…we thoroughly enjoyed the last one!
I’ll have lots of juice and fizzy water for those who like their mimosas “lite”.
Aww, it’s just like the olden days. I will brings eggs and Emma.
We will bring chocolate chips and lemons (Clara loves pancakes with lemon juice and sugar, how some English friends in Denmark ate theirs) and maybe blueberries. Tom says he will make a frittata of some sort. This will be the girls’ last Friday for a while; they leave for Denmark on Tuesday. 🙁
I will bring Weaver St. bread, butter and English marmalade, perhaps some fruit. Look forward to it!
And wheat-free pancakes if no one else brings similar.
We will bring the makings of orange-french-toast, with fresh-squeezed orange butter.
I’ll bring batter for vegan pancakes. And a frying pan. Looks like I’ll be coming solo.
Phil, the Tooks had a great time, seeing friends old and new. Thanks so much for hosting. I hope we can make it again a few times this summer.
