We are fried. The teenager organized an amazing stuffed critter sale this week, and has decided to celebrate by attending a high school performance of Avenue Q tonight. Our house has almost recovered from factory status.
Meanwhile, I believe someone called the theme “fried” for this week.
Stir fry, deep fry, pan fry, it is all welcome!
You could also bring your favorite healthy-thing-you-eat-with-fried-food-to-counterbalance-the-eating-experience.
BRING ON THE FRY!
I’m thinking of making beignets, otherwise known as banana fritters.

OK, as promised, I will be bringing roast beef taquitos with the guacamole/green chile salsa accompaniments. Elaine
I’ll bring a salad to go with all the fried stuff, some delicious oranges from my trees, and bottle of wine to honour St. Tryphon – the patron saint of wine, whom Bulgarians celebrate today.
I will bring a parmesan, pine nut, and arugula salad.
