Ray is hitting the road again. You have a chance of glimpsing her mid-week, but this is her last FND until April. So make it a good one!
We’ll have dough, sauce and cheese. You know what to do!

Bring it on. Doughnuts? Pancakes? Eggs? Grits? We’re all in.
Plus we have stories to tell about one of the stranger opening acts we have seen for a band.
Cheers and happy weekend.

Can’t do without FND? Wanna host? FND has a tradition of substitute hosts, at your place or ours…. just let us know and we’ll send a new note.
Otherwise, see you 1/30!

Ray’s folks and brother are in town and want to meet you people! So head on over with your favorite eats. And please sign up on the blog, so we are somewhat coordinated. We watched the Princess Bride this week, so the theme is “As you wish.” I know there are some fabuloso sliders on the way. We’ll probably steam up some dumplings and I heard there was a call for curry. We’ll make some rice. So bring it on!

The weather is cooling off and we are ready to fire up the grill and firepit.
We have marshmallows for those inclined.
See you soon!

When the Sam is away, the Ray likes to cook in the wok!
We’ll have the rice cooker going along with the stirring and frying. Bring along whatever you like with or in your stir fry — favorite ingredients, egg rolls, noodle dishes or other tasty treats. We also have some steamed buns we can get going in the steamer.
Mmmmmm hungry already.
See you soon!

Dear friends,
As you know, our nest is empty for the first Halloween since we were barely old enough to give out candy. Help us be jolly during this most festive of doorbell-ringing, costume-admiring, and popcorn popping of holidays by joining us for a delightful array of dinner items featuring chocolate and/or chili (and anything you think goes with chocolate or chili).
If you must attend to your own doorbell, then you are welcome to come for the later part of the evening. Perhaps we will get the firepit going and make some toasty marshmallows to go with all that lovely chocolate. Perhaps we will manage to keep the party going past 9:30, even though it is Claremont. Hope springs eternal.
Do let us know you are coming on the website, dears, even if it is last minute.
Your Sam and Ray
