This week FND is going to run from 5:30 – 8:15, so bring that stuff ready to eat! We are going to make seriously awesome sandwiches and eat yummy ice cream. If you like, bring homemade cookies and ice cream and we’ll eat ice cream sandwiches. It is Purim, so you can eat your ice cream first!

Needs:

good bread
meats
cheeses
veggies
fancy spreads (we have the usual plain ones and plenty of mustards)

ice cream
cookies

drinks
chips

As always let us know who and what you are bringing here at fndeats.wordpress.com

It is time again for an old fave:  breakfast for dinner.

As always, please let us know who and what you are bringing right here at fndeats.wordpress.com.

We’ll gather at 6:30.

FND 01/22/10: Comfort food for rainy days

It looks like we only have a few more rainy days to enjoy, so let’s celebrate them with some comfort food. I will make some veggie lasagne. We’ll comfort and food at about 6:30.

FND 01/08/10: Homemade Pizza

Dear FND Folks,

Last week you missed an amazing New Year’s-o-rama. I think it is fair to say we were all stuffed silly!

This week we are going to make homemade pizzas. We will provide dough and sauce (and we have a bit of mozzerella) — you bring your favorite toppings and/or drink, desserts, salad…

As always, please post who and what you are bringing at
http://fndeats.wordpress.com

Happy almost weekend,

Ray, Sam, Mimi, the new (purple velvet!) couch and snazzy salon chair

01/01/10: New Year’s Dinner

Hi Folks,
We are making fresh bread for grilled cheese sandwiches and soup and greens.
(I know it is late notice, but we are fresh in from North Cacalacky.)
Come on over about 6:30 for good eats!
As always, RSVP who and what you are bringing here at http://fndeats.wordpress.com

Cheers,
Sam, Ray and Mimi

FND 12/18/09: Avocados

Hi Folks,

We will be having an avocado-themed FND this week.  I’m thinking sushi, guacamole, omeletes, avocado ice ream?   stuff like that.

About the dare:  Ray has had a bit of a stuffy nose, so if you want to brave it — come on over!

We will avocado at about 6:30 PM.

Happy end of week.

Ray, Sam and Mimi

12/11/2009: Hannukah Delights (Fried wonderland)

This Friday we will whip up some traditional Hannukah eats. We’ll make latkes (potato pancakes) with sour cream an/or applesauce. Another traditional food is doughnuts, so feel free to bring those if it suits you. Perhaps some folks can bring antidotes for this food, such as fresh fruits and veggies.

12/4/09: Wrapped Food

This week we will have wrapped food from around the world. According to the lucky early RSVPer who got to call the theme, “Every culture has its burrito.” So bring on your blintzes, egg rolls., burritos, wraps, ice cream wrapped in a cone, apple turnovers, or those little hot dogs wrapped in biscuit dough.

We’re going to make a Korean dish you eat wrapped in lettuce. Mmmmmmm. Early birds might get lettuce from the garden!

Sam says I should have rapped this announcement, but (for once) I know better than to try.

As always, please RSVP who and what you are bringing right here at http://fndeats.wordpress.com
